I am Alicia Traveria. My family calls me 'Ayah' (pronounced "eye-yah"), hence the name of this place. I am an artist, illustrator, and designer originally from Jacksonville, Florida living it up in Austin, Texas. I attended Syracuse University, (including a semester in Florence, Italy!), and I graduated summa cum laude with my BFA in Illustration in 2002. Then I moved to Austin...so here I am. I'm zig-zagging my way across the world.

Also, I love cats (and furry things in general), teeth, cacti, dorks, and being a pack rat.

I really enjoy doing just about anything and everything creative, and I have worked in a variety of fields ranging from teaching classical drawing and painting, to jewelry design, to working as an animator on a feature film. This variety of skills and exerience has afforded me the pleasure of working with great clients and companies of all sorts: SXSW, Warner Brothers, Chuy's restaurants, Nordstrom, Bendel's, and In Style, to name a few. I'm always game for new creative experiences and challenges about which to get excited.
